Event Calendar - Event View

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and current shelter-at-home mandates, the Board of Directors has cancelled all SLOBC functions through May, including the Lake Casitas trip.

The SLOBC Lake Casitas Camp & Bike trip is scheduled for May 12-15, 2020. This is a fun event that combines camping at beautiful Lake Casitas, great bike riding, and socializing.

To register for this event:

1. Make your camping or lodging reservations first (see below).
2. Once you know your Fox campground campsite number (or hotel), log in to the member web site (slobc.club) and click on "Event Calendar"
3. Scroll to the May listings and click on "Lake Casitas Camp & Bike" event (this page).
4. Click on the "Register Now" button and follow directions. Be sure to include your campsite number or hotel. The Register Now button will only appear if you are logged in.

• Campers: for information about making your own campsite reservations online or by phone, visit the Lake Casitas Recreation Area web site at: casitaswater.org/recreation/camping. Please note, there are several campgrounds at Lake Casitas and our group will be staying at the Fox (F) campground (see map). The Fox campground has full hookups (Executive) or sites with water & electricity (Deluxe). Reserve early as this campground will fill up. Fees vary. No group discounts.
• Other campgrounds are available in the Lake Casitas Recreation Area.
• Non-campers: hotel/motel lodging is available in Ojai, Ventura, and Carpinteria. You are responsible for making your own reservations.

• Multiple routes of varying distances are included. Route maps will be provided.
• All rides will begin near the Park Entrance at 9 a.m. each day.

• Shared “no-host” appetizers/snacks events daily from 4:30-5:30 pm at the Fox campground.
